Shelby EHS is a dedicated to promoting safety in the workplace through effective safety training and safety management. Since 1991, we have trained thousands of students in industry, fire departments, EMS squads, government agencies, military installations, and police and sheriff departments. Our instructors bring years of real-world experience to the classroom. Classes are interesting and informative as well as challenging for the average student.
Kevin Phillips is Shelby EHS's president, senior instructor and program designer. He has been an emergency responder for over 32 years, serving with the Pittsfield Fire Department in Massachusetts, the MA and NY Air National Guard, the Cleveland County HAZMAT team and service as a search and rescue pilot with the Civil Air Patrol.
He holds AS in Fire Science Technologh, a BS in Industrial Safety Management and is currently working on a Masters of Science for Safety Engineering. As a Certified Environmental Trainer and Certified Instructional Technologist, he has been providing quality safety training, consulting and site safety management for more than 3 decades and has personally trained thousands of students for industrial HAZMAT teams, fire brigades, hazardous waste site work, and general workplace safety.
We have provided "turn key" site safety management services for large and small construction projects, dredging operations, hydro-electric power generation, solar projects, and hazardous waste operations sites.
